(More customer reviews)Love the easy, tasty results of beer bread mixes. Cracked Wheat sounded great, the reality...not so much. This does not list anywhere that its whole grain, or anything other than old fashion wheat bread. But when I made my first batch I knew just from the smell of the mix, there was rye or pumpernickel or some such added element. I could not see any rye seeds, but it sure tastes strong in the bread. My husband who loves beer bread, tried to be polite and tell me please not to make this one again, he really disliked the strong flavor of rye. So, just as a warning to others...this is easy to make, cooks up just right, but if you dont like rye, skip this flavor.
